When I adjust image in Lightburn, choosing Grayscale, the images side by side look identical. BUT, when I preview the result is an all black image?

Hi, from Canada! I'm not new to laser engraving, however I'm new to LightBurn, I have always used LaserGRBL. Big learning curb.

If you're getting poisoned you'll fucking notice, it's disgusting, you'll notice your throat and lips "feeling dry" and it'll sting your boogers as if someone threw a vunch of salt up your nose ... Anyway, you're not gonna die, but it's not a good idea to be exposed to it for extended periods of time, you'll get short breath and you'll stink like a school bathroom that's under industrial grade cleaning, likewith acids and other chemicals with skulls and bones on their containers, yet somehow the cleaning crew in still alive!

They state it isn't a subscription, but it is, because you have to pay an annual fee in order to keep it up to date, which is a subscription. If you don't buy a new licence every year then you don't get updates.

You have a 3d printer or several it looks like, pop into AutoCAD and design a bracket to fit the curved part of the laser frame and print it to mount the camera or theres many other ways that you could do9 this. Why not just 3d print a whole mount to attach it to the printer, something lighter then the arm they give you thats compact. If it were me id mount the camera right next to the Diode head on a 3d printed mount. As Engineers and Makers this is the whole point to what we do, Innovate, design, build and work the problem. Incredibly informative video on the xtool, for those looking to use lightburn or creative space this is without a doubt an important video to watch, however because this video neither featured a red panda nor a cool glass of ovaltine, i'm going to have to rate this video a 0 out of 10.

Hi Gil, great comparison. I probably will never own a Xtool, but I agree especially beginnerswill choose Creative Space. Lightburn can be a bit overwhelming to new users and it does cost money off course.

Interesting and almost what I was researching for. I have a project where only one part can be lasered at a time as it needs to be held in a rotating chuck. Would love the serial # to increase with every press of the foot pedal or every firing sequence each time a new part is loaded. thanks

60$ is a lot of money depending on the country you live in... I think if it was cheaper or a light version with basic for less money we would not be talking about that... I really like that, but after my trail ends I cant afford that... so probably I will try inkscape with gcode plugin, it is not as easy as lightburn, but at least it is opensource and seems to work...

Hi how are you. Kindly I have main issue in diode laser machine. My diode module is not moving correctly on clicking the move arrow key. Right , Left arrows clicking work good , but when I click up and down arrow key it’s not working correctly. When I click on up arrow the laser module move down, and when I click down arrow key the module goes up. Kindly tell me how do I correct the issue. The machine is twotrees.tts55
